Dog fouling can be a real problem, as children working with Oldham Play Action Group illustrate.

Children across Oldham have been drawing attention to the dangers and problems caused by dog mess.  The children came up with loads of story lines for a dog called ‘Lil Blu’ and designed a host of characters to appear in the stories.  You can see all their ideas  set out in cartoons by artist Iain Issacsson.  The cartoons may be amusing but they send out a serious message – clean up after your dog!

We would love to hear what people have to say on the issues of dog poo. I spent a lot of time talking to children and parents about the issue and got a wide range of views. All saying that they want owners to pick up after the dog but how that should be enforeced or if dogs should even be in parks near children? Have your say. Iain (Lil Blu Cartoonist)
